Respect Beyond Caste-
I was just with my bhaiya log, Sachin bhaiya and Tanu bhaiya, and we were having dosa. There was this small moment where a plate needed to be thrown into the dustbin, and Sachin bhaiya stopped Tanu bhaiya from doing it., because Tanu bhaiya is a Pandit.”
At this time, I was thinking, why does Sachin bhaiya follow these rules? If anybody is a Pandit, they can’t do this type of task. I know we humhe respect karni chahiye, they belong from a higher caste than me, but I think as of now, all are the same.
Before this incident, I used to think that if a Pandit has knowledge of dharma, then he or she is a Pandit, and then I will respect the person. If someone is a Thakur but they are not protecting dharma or are doing some things which represent not good things, I will not consider this as a Thakur. Like old Thakurs such as Prithvi Raj Singh Chauhan. Nowadays, people are just using and flexing this label or surname, jiske liye unhone kuch aisa nahi kiya.
But yesterday, Sachin bhaiya said, “agar koi Pandit accha insaan bhi hai, to hum use Pandit maan se maanege, aur agar koi bhi caste ka log agar acche insaan hai, they deserve respect.” Then I changed my perspective.
